Storyline: In the only December bowl to match two ranked opponents, former BCS busters Utah and Boise State will square off. Both teams were in the mix to bust into the BCS this year until Boise State suffered a heartbreaking overtime loss to Nevada on November 26th, and Utah dropped games to TCU and Notre Dame down the stretch. Boise State is going to take out its frustration on the Utes for just missing the championship game by a missed field goal; many are predicting the Broncos to make a statement and win this game big. Utah will be playing back-up quarterback Terrance Cain, as starter Jordan Wynn is out getting shoulder surgery. Utah has won nine straight bowl games, the longest streak in the country. Utah is looking to go ten straight.
All-time Series: 3-0 Boise State
Line: Boise State by 16.5
